Why SNIA S10-101:

The many terms including SAN, Array, Migration, Replica and Clone, by name sound like characters in a science fiction movie. Understanding the terms composition, roles and interactions provide the foundation for developing and maintaining storage solutions.

This course highlights storage technology in vendor neutral terms. It is a comprehensive introduction to fundamental storage capabilities and the building blocks that underpin those capabilities across storage disciplines. The setting is practical and applied to help the participant in addressing storage issues as part of a multidisciplinary team. In addition, the course prepares the participant for the SNIA Storage Network Foundations SNIA S10-101 Exam.

Expected Outcome:
Pass SNIA S10-101 Exam. Have strong practical and verbal understanding of storage and storage networking concepts.

Who should attend:
Everyone responsible for storage service delivery and support for new and existing storage products and services; this typically includes both new and experienced development, administration, implementation, delivery, support and management staff. Anyone required to complete the internationally recognized SNIA S10-101 Storage Network Foundations examination will find this course essential.

Prerequisites:
A basic level of IT literacy including at least six (6) months experience in IT and/or Storage Networking Operations. Advanced computer skills and knowledge in at least one operating system. Technical skills as a team member to develop complex solutions. A course specific non-disclosure agreement is required to attend this course.

Abhinav completed his M. Sc. (Computer Science) at the top of his class from the Department of Computer Science, University of Pune. He also worked as a full time member of the teaching faculty there in the academic year 1993-94.

Abhinav is a recognized speaker in the area of Storage, Virtualization and Information Lifecycle Management related technologies and has presented at forums like Storage Networking Users Group (SNUG), Crescendo (a technical event organized by Symphony for industry professionals and students), Information Systems Controllers and Auditors Association (ISACA), Computer Society of India (CSI) as well as the technical festivals of various engineering colleges.
