What is ITIL?
ITIL is a framework of best practice techniques to facilitate the delivery of high-quality information technology services. ITIL outlines an exhaustive set of management procedures to support organizations in achieving both value and quality in IT operations.
As an IT Service Management (ITSM) framework, ITIL provides a systematic approach to the provisioning and management of IT services, from inception through design, implementation, operation and continual improvement. The processes identified and described within ITIL are supplier and platform independent and apply to all aspects of IT infrastructure. |

Mr. Parag Patki is ITIL Certified, Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) from ISACA, USA, CISSP from ISC2, USA and BS 7799 Lead Auditor from BSI, UK. His domain expertises are IT Service Management and Information Security Management. |
Mr.Patki currently as a Principal Consultant, is heading the Consulting Division of a part of the transnational US$ 300 million PCS group a leading IT Solutions and Services Company.
His domain expertise is IT Governance, IT Service Management, Information Security Management and Project Management.
He has 14+ years experience in IT Services and is a recognized trainer. In last 6 years he has trained over 2600 participants on various IT disciplines including ITIL, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, PMBOK, COBIT, Cyber Law and Penetration testing. He has also spoken at national / international conferences and leading professional member organizations like ISACA Chapter in Mumbai.
Mr.Parag has been a leading consultant who has worked on ITIL, ISO 20000, ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 consulting projects. He has lead multiple large Infrastructure Management and BPO projects with team size over 350+ members. He has led projects of ITIL/ISO 20000 implementation in ONGC (a fortune 500 Company), GTL Limited, TVS Iyengar and Sons Limited and Star TV. He has trained participants from leading organizations such as Reliance Industries Limited, Reliance Infocom, France Telecom, Yes Bank, NSE IT, J P Morgan and Chase, Citibank, Aker Kvarner, etc.
He has also led ISO 27001 implementation projects in Aptech Limited, Ship Building Center, GTL Limited, TVS Iyengar and Sons Limited, Tech Process Limited. He was also involved in implementation of ISO 9000 in a BPO company and a Telecom infrastructure Company.
