Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 with “Share” as its mission statement popularly known as MOSS 2007 is a set of integrated server platform technologies used for connecting people, processes, and information. It gives you the ability to quickly build web applications with out-of-the-box functionality for the intranet, extranet and Internet. It is known for its document storage, structured list storage, and group collaboration.
MOSS 2007 also provides web content management, enterprise content services, and enterprise search, as well as shared business processes and business intelligence dashboarding to the small/medium enterprise.

This course is designed for the experienced developers who intend to get started with MOSS 2007. It begins with a basic understanding of the architecture and then gradually moves with hands-on, step-by-step of how-to procedures and code examples clarifying each concept.

Participants would need to have an experience in web development using ASP.NET 2.0. Knowledge of SPS 2003 (SharePoint Portal Server 2003) would prove to be an added advantage.
